picking up the weaving

Seriously, any time I’m working on a piece of writing—particularly school-writing—I feel as if I’m resuming a hand-weaving project after setting it aside for a while. Like this,

…I gather up the strands, pull the pattern back into the front of my mind, and start again. With any luck, I’m accurate in how I get going again and don’t have to pull out mistaken work, but the risk of laying-down is a rocky re-start.

Time to tie off this bit of weaving, and get cracking on my exam essays!

 

 

If you’re intrigued by the patterns the weaver uses here, but would prefer something more… static… this is a good diagram-based set of instructions.
